The Brookwood, Alabama, community is in mourning after a tragic crash early Saturday morning claimed the lives of 20-year-old Abigail Woods and 19-year-old Sierra N. Jackson. The deadly collision occurred just after 12:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 43 near mile marker 207, approximately 11 miles north of Tuscaloosa. Abigail, who was driving a 2013 Ford Focus, collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 17-year-old from Northport.

Abigail was killed instantly upon impact, and her passenger, Sierra, also tragically died at the scene. The teenage driver of the Silverado was seriously injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. The loss of these two young women has left the Brookwood community in shock, and friends and family are struggling to come to terms with the sudden and devastating tragedy.
